Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Account Manager (m/f/d) to take full responsibility for the operational, commercial, and strategic management of a mission‑critical, AI‑ready data centre facility located in and around Frankfurt.
This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a professional with a strong background in data centre operations, client management, and financial responsibility, who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑availability environment.
You will act as the primary interface between the client and the on‑site service delivery team, ensuring 24/7 operational excellence, commercial performance, and long‑term customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for the data centre client, building and maintaining a trusted, long‑term relationship
- Take full accountability for site operations, ensuring reliable 24/7/365 availability of a mission‑critical data centre facility
- Lead, manage, and develop all on‑site teams and subcontractors delivering technical and soft services
- Hold full P&L responsibility,
- Operating expenditure (OPEX)
- Capital expenditure (CAPEX)
- Maintenance budgets
- Subcontractor and staffing costs
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including:
- Health & Safety
- Quality management systems
- Social and labour standards
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational resilience within an AI‑ready, high‑density data centre environment
- Identify and develop additional service opportunities within existing client accounts
- Prepare and deliver clear, professional reports and presentations to senior stakeholders
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in data centre operations is essential (mission‑critical environments required)
- Demonstrated experience in account management, site leadership, or operations management
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and P&L
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Ability to lead teams in a matrix and high‑growth environment
- Structured, methodical approach to problem‑solving with strong organisational skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written) – essential
