Privatal is expanding, and we are looking for experienced delivery/research consultants to join our growing Private Equity Search team in Dubai.

The Profile

We are interested in speaking with consultants who have 1-3 years of experience in search delivery, with a proven track record supporting senior leadership mandates.

Candidates must have experience delivering C‑suite (C+) or C‑1 level searches, either within private equity, portfolio companies, or broader executive leadership environments.

What you will ideally have:

  • 1–3 years experience supporting end‑to‑end executive search delivery
  • Demonstrable exposure to C‑suite and C‑1 mandates (e.g. CFO, COO, CTO, VP Finance, Transformation Director, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and process management
  • Confidence engaging with senior candidates and clients
  • A consultative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and commercial drive
  • Experience operating in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment

What will you be doing in this role?

As a researcher at Privatal, you will play a key role in delivering high‑impact executive search mandates across Europe’s private capital markets, with a focus on C+ and C‑1 leadership hiring for private equity‑backed businesses.

This role is focused on supporting Partners on end‑to‑end search execution, under the guidance and oversight of your team lead. The successful candidate will be integral in market research, candidate development, and project coordination across senior mandates.

This is a client‑facing position with significant exposure to retained work, but without responsibility for business development.

Candidate Management

  • Working closely with practice leads to understand C‑suite and C‑1 role requirements, build market maps, and headhunt senior executives
  • Building and managing a high‑calibre network of leadership talent across permanent mandates
  • Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, our CRM, networking, and direct outreach
  • Conducting initial screening calls, assessing motivation, fit, and technical capability
  • Managing the full candidate lifecycle, from first approach through to shortlist, interviews, and offer stage
  • Staying current on market trends, hiring activity, and transactions across the European private equity landscape

Client Management

  • Supporting Partners with client mapping and gathering relevant commercial intelligence across private equity firms and portfolio groups
  • Attending client meetings alongside practice heads to support retained executive mandates, including taking detailed job briefings
  • Conducting in-depth research into clients, their investors, portfolio structures, and competitor landscapes
  • Producing high‑quality client packs and briefing documents for pitches, mandate execution, and candidate presentation
  • Acting as a professional point of contact throughout the search process, ensuring a smooth and high‑standard client experience
  • Supporting multiple live C‑suite mandates simultaneously, operating at pace while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Delivering search processes to the standards expected by leading private equity clients
  • Working in a high‑performance environment with direct access to leadership, structured development, and clear progression
