Role OverviewAs a Development Engineer, you will be part of an agile team responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for our advanced navigation and automation systems. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement software features for automation and navigation systemsContribute to all development stages from EPIC refinement to deliveryCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutionsEnsure code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to best practicesCreate and maintain technical documentationParticipate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the teamStay updated on new technologies, tools, and design methodologiesOccasionally travel internationally for collaboration or project support Key RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field3–5 years of relevant professional experience in software developmentStrong proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, WPF, and Visual StudioExperience with Azure DevOps for collaboration and project trackingKnowledge of agile development practices and common design and architecture patternsFamiliarity with C++, Web Services, and customized operating systemsExcellent communication and teamwork skills in German and EnglishStructured, proactive, and resilient approach to problem-solvingEnthusiasm for innovation and interest in maritime or navigation applications Why choose us and why we’d choose youAt NACOS Marine, innovation is built on collaboration.
