Digital Service Manager Infrastructure Security - Automotive Business

SKF announced the separation of its Automotive business in September 2024, creating a new company focused on the evolving automotive market. This role will help shape the future of motion as part of that new organization.

Do you want to manage Security Services closely connected to infrastructure platforms? This is your opportunity to manage the full lifecycle of these services, delivering standardized, end-to-end solutions that are reliable, secure, and user‑friendly. Your work will directly contribute to the Automotive Security ecosystem, enabling safe operations.

In this role you will develop secure access (remote, private, internet), external/cloud firewalls, and certificates. You will collaborate closely with the Automotive IT Security team, applying their directives and guidelines. You will manage supplier contracts, service execution, financial control, and continuously improve standards while optimizing operational stability and cost.

What You Can Expect In The Role

• Operational Excellence: Enhance availability, reliability, security, and performance of the Service, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.
• Vendor Management: Act as the contract owner, manage supplier relationships, follow service levels, root cause analysis, and supplier performance.
• Service Roadmap: Develop and execute the roadmap for the Service to reach business and service goals.
• Budget control: Own the budget and forecast, delivering within guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Automotive Security team, Infrastructure Platform Service owners, Information Security team, and Infrastructure Architects, engaging users and stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge: Understand Infrastructure services (Hosting, Cloud, Network) with solid security awareness, focusing on Secure access, Firewalls, and Certificate processes in a Zero Trust world.
• Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with the Security team to ensure services are secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering.
• Experience in Infrastructure (Cloud and Network) with a security focus, preferably in a global outsourced environment. Tools: Zscaler, Aviatrix, AlgoSec, Palo Alto, Sectigo.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing, fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in a global environment with diverse nationalities and cultures.
• Structured, coherent mindset, ensuring standards and cost control.

Preferred location: any SKF Automotive site in Europe or India. Employment on local contract. You will report to Katarina Kymmer, Infrastructure Platform Services Manager in Gothenburg, Sweden.
