Director, Due Diligence Lead (all genders)

We are looking for a Director level Due Diligence Lead to oversee due diligence activities across our key disease areas – Oncology, Neurology, and Immunology. This hybrid role (3 days per week on site) can be based in Darmstadt, Germany or Boston, USA.

Your role

Lead all scientific and technical due diligence processes for potential partnering, acquisitions, or licensing deals. Leverage expertise in global drug development and collaborate with internal and external experts to deliver comprehensive assessments to senior management, supporting key investment decisions.

Who You Are

• 6+ years of experience in biotech/pharma drug development, with a track record of leading multidisciplinary global project teams.
• Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical development process, hands‑on R&D experience, and expertise across research, pre‑clinical development, process development, manufacturing, clinical, and regulatory areas.
• Strong knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas (Oncology, Neurology, Immunology).
• Experience leading due diligence activities, identifying key questions and guiding teams.
• Excellent global team leadership, communication, decision‑making, conflict resolution, and influencing skills; entrepreneurial drive.
• Strong project‑management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrixed, multinational environment.
• Ability to create value by combining expertise of different partners.
• Ability to represent the company and interact at all levels across key geographies.
• Travel up to 30% domestic and international.
