Your jobAs Assaia continues to expand globally, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Sales, EMEA to drive our commercial success across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with a focus on the German speaking markets. This role will lead the regional sales strategy, manage key enterprise relationships, and serve as a senior representative of Assaia within the aviation and technology sectors. The ideal candidate will combine a strong track record in complex enterprise sales with the ability to shape market strategy and execute with precision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Please note: we are looking for TWO Sales Directors, one German speaker mandatory. ResponsibilitiesSpreading the word and engaging with potential customers is essential in keeping and increasing our current growth trajectory. As the Director of Sales EMEA, you will have the following responsibilities:Drive revenue growth across EMEA through expansion with existing customers and acquisition of new enterprise accounts.Plan, prospect, and qualify target markets to build a strong pipeline of complex enterprise opportunities.Lead the full enterprise sales cycle — from account planning and stakeholder mapping to negotiation and closure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver winning RFP/RFI responses and high-impact commercial proposals.Build and present compelling value propositions and ROI justifications to C-level executives and key decision-makers.Strengthen strategic relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders to drive long-term growth.Represent the company at key aviation events to enhance visibility and market presence. Requirements7+ years of experience in complex enterprise sales, ideally within aviation, transportation, or technology sectors.Demonstrated success in leading regional sales efforts and consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious revenue targets.Proven ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations and influence senior decision-makers at the executive level.Deep understanding of long-cycle enterprise sales, including solution selling and consultative approaches.Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and strong commercial acumen.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent Assaia at the highest levels.Fluent in English; for one vacancy we need German, otherwise additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Arabic are a plus.Entrepreneurial mindset.Ability and willingness for frequent travel across the EMEA region.Located within the European Union Preferred additional requirementsExperience in a high-growth or scaling organization, ideally within the aviation technology space.Established network across airports, airlines, or aviation technology providers.Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.A passion for innovation, efficiency, and digital transformation within aviation operations.
