As Director, Process Improvement for Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO), you will lead transformative initiatives that directly impact BioNTech’s mission of pioneering innovative therapies. Your contribution:

• Lead process improvement initiatives from conception to realization, ensuring integration with organizational systems.
• Partner cross-functionally to build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within GCDO.
• Monitor process efficiency and effectiveness while identifying opportunities for improvement aligned with strategic priorities.
• Develop data-driven operational strategies and metrics frameworks to measure trial delivery effectiveness.
• Drive digital transformation efforts for critical GCDO areas, including eTMF, CTMS, and RBM systems.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (ICH, FDA, EMA) through innovative methodologies and performance indicators.

A good match:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO industries with expertise in Clinical Operations or related fields.
• Solid understanding of drug development processes with advanced knowledge of clinical operations.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, LEAN, and Agile methodologies; proven success in delivering end-to-end process improvements.
• Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
