This role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee project management operations within a dynamic clinical research environment. You will provide strategic guidance and mentorship to project managers, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high‑quality standards. The position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to manage risks, resolve challenges, and optimize service delivery for a dedicated sponsor. You will oversee multiple projects, supporting operational and financial objectives while fostering professional growth within your team. This role demands a balance of hands‑on leadership, regulatory expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to drive successful outcomes across complex clinical studies.

Accountabilities

• Provide oversight to project managers in day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring operational and financial deliverables are met
• Guide staff on project planning, execution, review, risk mitigation, problem solving, and client management
• Lead line management responsibilities for assigned project management staff, including mentoring and performance development
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to clinical research protocols
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support high‑quality, timely delivery of clinical projects
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues to maintain alignment with sponsor expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field; advanced degrees preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector
• In‑depth knowledge of clinical research regulations, compliance requirements, and drug development processes
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results across quality, time, and financial metrics
• Strong problem‑solving, risk management, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Experience in mentoring and developing project management staff
