Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Specialist

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Specialist (m/w/d) for our location in Hamburg or alternatively nationwide in Germany.

About the role:

• The position of Product Expert D365 Instances is a central interface between business processes and the technical capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• This role combines profound functional knowledge in Finance & Operations with practical experience in configuration, data management, integration, and the Power Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes, conduct fit-gap analyses, and translate requirements into system specifications and solution concepts.
• Configure D365 F&O modules such as Finance or Supply Chain – including workflows, security roles, number sequences, and organizational structures.
• Manage data using the Data Management Framework (DMF), data entities, and the Excel add-in.
• Support technical integrations via OData, custom APIs, Power Automate, or Logic Apps.
• Plan and coordinate system testing and support go-live activities.
• Train end users, create documentation, and ensure new solutions are well adopted.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in IT – ideally with a focus on ERP systems and Microsoft technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations – ideally in the Finance or Supply Chain modules.
• Hands-on experience configuring D365 systems with a strong understanding of underlying business processes.
• Skilled in Power Automate and Power Apps, with basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiar with interfaces and integrations (e.g., via OData, DMF, or Logic Apps).
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a structured way of working.
• Very good German and English skills.
