EHS / ES&S Process Safety Manager (m/f/d)

My client is currently looking for an experienced EHS / ES&S Process Safety Manager to join their team at a well-established industrial site in Germany. This is a key role focused on driving process safety excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop hazardous substances management in line with German and EU chemical regulations (REACH, CLP, etc.)
• Manage and enhance the site-wide incident management system, including training and emergency exercises
• Oversee and continuously improve the Process Safety Management (PSM) framework
• Plan and deliver PHA, DHA, LOPA, and HIRA studies across plant operations
• Ensure compliance, documentation, and reporting of all process safety activities

Your Profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of hazardous substances management and chemical legislation
• Proven experience in process safety management, including reactive chemicals
• Several years of experience within chemical production or industrial environments
• Additional experience in safety engineering or emergency response is advantageous
• German language skills required (professional level)
