Ideal applicants will possess a wide range of skill set, of which commissioning , troubleshooting , maintenance , calibration, monitoring and repair of heavy electrical equipment . Successful applicants possess strong electrical aptitudes and knowledge, hands‑on skills, and are problem solvers who are flexible and attentive to customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Start‑up and commissioning of solar inverters at customers' photovoltaic solar plants.
- Diagnose and repair faulted inverters in the field, troubleshooting (replacement of FRUs, MV transformers, MV switchgear, electronic boards, AC and DC fuses, fans, filters) and other components.
- Complete on‑time daily field reports that capture time spent and work completed on site.
- Manage inventory parts assigned to the technician for field work.
- Care for company property such as company vehicle, tools, electronic devices, and PPE.
- Follow procedures to provide maintenance to inverters.
- Update software and hardware.
- Attend warranty claim service tickets.
- Follow up procedures of Safe Start and Safe Stop.
- Perform physical installations such as connections, wiring, etc.
- Complete Layer 1 tasks.
- Practice and adhere to safety and training policies.
- Complete expense reports.
- Travel based on operational demands.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Electrical education: Trade school, Electrical / Electronics Engineering or similar.
- Experience or knowledge in MV‑HV equipment.
- Strong proficiency using electrical test equipment including multimeter.
- Strong knowledge using computers at the user level.
- Travel availability to various sites as needed per our operation (up to 90% of the time, Monday‑Friday).
