Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machines to support production demand.
• Perform corrective and preventative electrical maintenance on machines as scheduled.
• Participate in projects and installation of new machines.
• Meet with production leads and supervisors regarding operation of machines.

Additional Responsibilities

• Basic PLC knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments to equipment.
• Responsible for shop cleanliness, safety and compliance.
• Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Lean standards.

Qualifications

• Reports to: Maintenance Manager

• All functional areas of Production

Work Experience and Education

• High School diploma with electrical background or equivalent level of education required.
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrician or Automation technician in an industry.
• Prior experience performing preventative Maintenance on machines.
• Pneumatic experience.
• Prior experience troubleshooting automation equipment.

Specific knowledge

• Mechanical aptitude.
• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting.
