We are partnering with a large scale tech business and they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for a high-impact project.

This global innovator is a leader in R&D, investing heavily in the evolution of intelligent machine platforms and next-gen mobility.

In this role, you will lead the implementation and optimization of low-latency algorithms for robotic perception and control. You’ll develop modular software stacks for complex, real-world platforms, specifically focusing on multi-modal sensor fusion (LiDAR, Radar, IMUs) and real-time synchronization. Beyond pure coding, you will act as a key technical liaison between hardware and system engineering teams to ensure stable, high-performance integration of E/E architectures and real-time communication protocols.

This is a full time 12 month contract position, based on-site in Munich. Extensions may be possible but not yet confirmed.

Rates are between €65-€95/hour, depending on experience level.

I’m interested in speaking to specialists with the following:

• Degree in Robotics/Computer Engineering or a deep technical equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in real-time software or machine-control environments.
• C++ and Python Fluency: Expert-level proficiency in multithreaded and embedded-real-time systems.
• Framework Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics middleware.
• Sensor Logic: Practical knowledge of calibration and data fusion for advanced perception suites.
• Proficiency in profiling and debugging distributed embedded systems.
