An exciting opportunity with plenty of strategic freedom awaits you in our Global IT Department at our Hamburg location. Our colleague Michael von Smolinski is looking for you to join his team as:

Full-time | Part-time | Job-sharing

You will take technical ownership of the ERP transformation from SAP ECC to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations within the MastERPiece program. Your mission is to steer and challenge external implementation partners, define and enforce architecture and design standards and ensure the solution is robust, scalable and future-proof. You will act as the bridge between the Finance business functions and IT, ensuring business requirements are met without compromising technical integrity.

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Provide functional oversight and challenge to external system integrators, ensuring quality, architecture and standards
• Define and enforce architecture and design guidelines for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the overall integration landscape
• Review and approve solution proposals, customization approaches and integration patterns
• Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as performance, security and regulatory standards
• Own technical go-live readiness, including data migration, interfaces and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with Finance, IT competence center and the PMO, contributing to architecture boards and decision-making bodies
• Guarantee through documentation and knowledge transfer for sustainable future operations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in ERP transformation projects (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations)
• Deep understanding of ERP architectures, integration design, data migration and cloud platforms
• Proven track record in managing and challenging implementation partners to ensure solution quality
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with external partners and internal stakeholders
• Hands‑on mentality with pragmatic approach and excellent problem‑solving skills

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Experience with SAP migrations
• Knowledge of Azure services and Power Platform
