Position Overview

As the Ethics & Compliance Specialist you will provide compliance support on legal issues involving Resmed's government and regulatory compliance. Key deliverables include identifying and proactively eliminating or resolving potential non‑compliance risks, drafting policies, processes, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory statutes.

Only candidates who are fluent in German and English will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and evaluating potential global risks of non‑compliance and developing mitigation strategies
  • Responding to requests for compliance approval for events and activities across the EMEA region
  • Preparing detailed reports, presenting findings, and making recommendations for improvement to management
  • Regularly reviewing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures to align with changing regulations
  • Collaborating with global departments to ensure compliance processes are aligned and providing training to employees on compliance‑related issues
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and communicating global and local compliance requirements
  • Assisting with investigations into compliance breaches

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as law
  • 3–7 years of experience
  • Experience in a compliance role in the healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and proficiency with compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Business‑fluent German and English skills

Preferred

  • Certified in the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE) or the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA)
  • Experience in Medical Devices
  • Experience in ESG
