About the role

In short: build the systems that power everything – fast, secure, and at scale.

• Design and implement backend services and APIs that are robust, scalable, and secure.
• Own our cloud infrastructure: automate deployments, monitor systems, and ensure high availability across environments.
• Improve developer velocity by streamlining CI/CD and testing pipelines
• Set up and enforce security best practices
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product, and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration between systems.
• Shape our backend architecture, DevOps culture, and engineering standards alongside the founders.

Tech stack:

• Backend: Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL
• Infra & DevOps: Docker, Azure, Terraform
• Tooling: CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, release processes, observability dashboards

You might be a fit if…

• You have experience designing and maintaining modern backend systems and infrastructure in production.
• You’ve built secure, scalable APIs and have strong opinions on deployment practices, logging, and monitoring.
• You’re comfortable managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP), setting up CI/CD, and automating everything you can.
• You understand that security isn’t a feature – it’s a mindset. You follow best practices for data protection, auth, and cloud access.
• You take pride in system reliability, clean abstractions, and thoughtful architecture.
• You are resourceful – with a get‑it‑done attitude – deeply committed, and willing to go the extra mile when it matters, because you care deeply about the problems you’re solving and you care about your own work.
