We are currently supporting a leading international contractor on a large-scale civil scope for a high-voltage cable project in North-East Germany. Due to the upcoming HDD phase, they are looking to engage 1–2 experienced Freelance Site Managers to manage and supervise HDD subcontractor works on-site.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity on a complex infrastructure project with a fast start.

Project Overview

• Civil works for a high-voltage cable project
• Approx. 30 km route with 24 HDD crossings
• Management of multiple HDD subcontractor crews
• Project language: English (German required on site)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate HDD subcontractors on site
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulations, and quality standards
• Act as the main on-site point of contact for the client
• Organise site logistics, materials, and bentonite disposal
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety of HDD works

Required Experience

• Strong experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
• Proven site management or supervision experience
• Experience managing subcontractors on complex projects
• German language skills required (English as project language)
