About The Role
Let’s build software that restores nature.
At green account, we want every company in Europe to invest in secure, transparent, and local nature projects. To make that happen, we’re building tools that make biodiversity measurable and investment in nature scalable.
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/d) to join our 5-person tech team. Your main focus will be building and evolving our web apps – from onboarding flows to spatial tools that support planners in the field. You should love solving real problems, moving fast, and building clean, purposeful software. GIS is part of the stack, but you don’t need to be an expert in maps to thrive here.
Whether you bring years of experience or just the right energy, we care most about your drive to build great software and make a difference.
Your mission

• Develop full-stack features that support internal teams, customers, and environmental planners.
• Build interactive map tools to help users explore, assess, and visualise nature sites.
• Streamline onboarding flows for landowners and project developers.
• Own your work end-to-end – from database to deployment, with CI/CD and serverless infra.
• Work closely with product and users to shape tools that make a real-world impact.
  

Your profile

• Experience building scalable applications with TypeScript and React, with a strong understanding of system architecture and design patterns.
• Familiar with Remix / react-router-7, Drizzle or other ORMs, Mapbox, and SQL/Postgres/PostGIS.
• Eager to embrace AI Engineering for coding, autonomous agents for testing and other tooling that accelerates development.
• Self-driven and pragmatic, able to take ownership and move things forward.
• German is a bonus, not a must.
