Senior Full Stack Engineer - Mobile Apps

Job Description We’re an early-stage startup building an AI-powered platform that helps local service professionals (like plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians) run their businesses more efficiently. Our first product automates missed calls: triaging potential leads, capturing context, and following up with customers. We’re developing a broader suite of intelligent tools that integrate messaging, scheduling, quoting, and CRM functions into one seamless experience. The goal is to empower small service businesses to operate with the sophistication of large companies, but without the extra administrative burden. Our team combines deep experience in product, AI systems, and the trades. We move fast, experiment often, and are passionate about solving real-world problems. We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join us remotely on an ongoing basis, working daily with our team to build and maintain our platform. Key Responsibilities Building new features for our Flutter-based mobile apps and FastAPI backend.Maintaining and optimizing existing codebase, including integrations, performance improvements, and bug fixes.Collaborating closely with our team on production apps, participating in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and iterative development.Contributing to scalable, AI-driven tools that enhance user experience for small businesses. This is an ongoing engagement with potential for long-term collaboration. You'll work remotely but in close alignment with our team, preferably in or near CST time zone for better overlap during core hours. Required Skills And Experience Proven production experience with large-scale Flutter apps.Proven production experience with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.Experience working with teams on production apps in a collaborative environment. Nice-to-Have Skills Riverpod for state management.Drift for database handling.Dramatiq for task queuing.Argo for workflow orchestration.Kubernetes for container orchestration.MLOps practices for AI model deployment.General DevOps experience (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code). Compensation and Details Hourly rate based on experience; payments for approved projects and milestones.Immediate start – we're looking to onboard quickly!Fully remote position.Preference for candidates in CST or similar time zones to facilitate daily collaboration.
