Fullstack Software Engineer (Remote - EU)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software engineer to contribute to a data-driven platform that powers short-term rental insights globally. You will work on both backend and frontend features, building scalable and maintainable applications while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers. The work spans data-rich applications with a combination of Ruby, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks, giving you exposure to end-to-end development.

• Develop and maintain fullstack features, including backend services and user interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to clarify requirements and shape technical solutions
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
• Test your work thoroughly and ensure smooth deployment through CI/CD pipelines
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents
• Contribute to internal documentation and share ideas to improve engineering practices and product quality

• 2-6 years of professional experience as a software engineer working on web applications
• Experience with backend development using Ruby (or similar languages); familiarity with Hanami is a plus
• Comfortable writing and debugging SQL queries; experience with PostgreSQL preferred
• Experience building user-facing features with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frameworks (Ember, React, etc.)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and collaborative development practices
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and deliver independently or as part of a team
• Comfortable working in an Agile team, open to feedback, and supportive of colleagues
• Bonus: experience with JSONAPI, Hanami, Sidekiq, cloud deployments, frontend performance optimization, accessibility standards, or property management systems for short-term rentals
