Role Overview

Build and lead a global commercial team focused on driving sales and support for our chromatography product portfolio. Provide strategic insight and technical expertise to collaborate with commercial partners and achieve ambitious sales targets. Work closely with marketing and commercial colleagues to plan and execute regional initiatives, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and develop the global commercial team for chromatography products.
  • Drive sales growth and achieve set targets across international markets.
  • Coordinate with marketing and commercial teams to execute regional action plans.
  • Identify strategic opportunities based on market and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the long‑term roadmap for chromatography.
  • Motivate and guide the team in pursuing new business and pre‑sales opportunities.
  • Present technical expertise and solutions to customers through direct and virtual engagements.
  • Oversee prioritization and execution of customer projects to ensure team efficiency.
  • Ensure high‑level consultancy and on‑site application support via product specialists.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal stakeholders for improvement.
  • Support product launches and contribute to marketing and training programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience in the life science industry.
  • Expertise in chromatography, sales strategy, and data analysis.
  • At least 5 years of people‑management experience, ideally in a global context.
  • Deep understanding of biopharmaceutical production modalities and sales cycles.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus, digital agility, and proactive approach.
  • Fluent in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
