Global Operational Excellence Manager/Director

I am partnered with a leading global CDMO supporting pharmaceutical and biotech partners across development and commercial manufacturing, with capabilities spanning sterile, solid dose, and biologics operations.

Role Overview:

The Global OPEX Manager will drive operational excellence initiatives across a multi-site CDMO network, embedding Lean principles, improving performance, and strengthening a culture of continuous improvement. This role partners with Site Leadership, MSAT, Quality, and Supply Chain to enhance productivity, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deploy global Lean / Six Sigma strategy across manufacturing sites
• Standardize KPIs and implement visual performance management frameworks
• Coach and develop site OPEX champions and CI teams
• Support capacity expansion, tech transfer optimization, and operational readiness programs
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities aligned with business strategy

Profile:

• 8+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing (CDMO preferred)
• Strong background in GMP-regulated environments
• Proven track record delivering measurable operational improvements
• Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership skills
• Willingness to travel globally
