Global Product Manager, Gastroenterology (downstream)

Ambu A/S is looking for a Global Product Manager, Gastroenterology (GI) . This high‑impact position places you in full responsibility for driving product launches and supporting commercialization of the in‑market portfolio in GI. You will enable and support our salesforce in high‑quality engagements with customers to unlock the single‑use transition in GI endoscopy.

In this role you will partner with a dedicated Product Management team, work closely with sales territories, marketing centres of excellence and other cross‑functional partners, and collaborate directly with healthcare professionals worldwide. The position offers broad global exposure, close collaboration with leadership, and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on Ambu’s expanding GI portfolio.

Ambu is on an ambitious journey to make single‑use endoscopy the standard of care in strategic target markets. This role is central to enabling commercial success in that mission.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the global owner for enabling the sales organization in achieving commercial success, including:
    • Commercial strategies and tactics (customer segmentation, commercial partnerships, etc.)
    • Commercial toolbox development (messaging, evidence generation, etc.)
    • Commercial excellence (market data, pricing, etc.)
  • Drive global product launches in collaboration with downstream colleagues and marketing centres of excellence, including:
    • Global and local launch strategy guiding the commercial team to success
    • Customer feedback generation back to R&D / Upstream team
    • Performance tracking and active engagements to accelerate success or mitigate challenges
  • Take full ownership of commercial success in your area, including:
    • Be a trusted partner across the organization
    • Build and maintain the global KOL network
    • Represent Ambu externally at tradeshows, workshops, and KOL interactions
    • Collaborate closely with the team in global and local functions to deliver on the GI strategy and business goals

Qualifications

  • International experience in downstream product management or other commercial roles within MedTech or related healthcare industries
  • International experience in gastroenterology or a surgical field with a relevant KOL network (advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Experience driving value creation on an in‑market portfolio (value proposition, evidence generation, etc.)
  • Experience conducting global launches (strategic launch plans, marketing and training materials, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of clinical workflows and how medical solutions impact patient outcomes
  • Strong ability to understand and bridge commercial and strategic perspectives
  • A proactive, analytical, and collaborative personality thriving in global, fast‑paced environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences including HCPs, executives, and commercial teams
