Bavaria (Hybrid working - 2 days in-office minimum)

About the Role

My client is a leading player in the renewable energy sector, delivering end-to-end photovoltaic solutions — from initial design through to turnkey project delivery, currently delivering a pipeline of 90+ open space Utility scale projects in Germany.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with a Grid Connection / Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of utility-scale PV projects across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of grid connection applications (Anschlussbegehren) to relevant network operators
• Ongoing technical and contractual coordination with DSOs/TSOs
• Design and planning of medium-voltage systems in line with TAR 4110 and grid operator requirements (TAB)
• Creation of technical specifications and bills of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnisse)
• Coordination and supervision of project implementation on-site
• Support during commissioning of PV systems
• Management of plant certification and conformity documentation
• Providing technical input to project development teams

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Energy Engineering , or technical qualification (Technician/Meister)
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage systems and protection technology
• Experience within photovoltaics or renewable energy projects is advantageous
• Fluent German (written and spoken) with strong communication skills
• Comfortable using MS Office tools
• Willingness to travel across Germany (driving licence required)
