Head of Heating Operations

Overview

I'm looking for a driven, hands-on Head of Heating Operations to build, scale, and run the heating operations function as my client grows. This is a high-impact role where you'll own how their heating and cooling assets move from project delivery into high-performing, customer-ready operations.

You'll work across teams, solve real-world operational challenges, and help shape the systems, processes, and culture that will support their next stage of growth.

My client is a growing company driving the energy transition through decentralized solutions - from solar and battery systems to electric vehicle charging, CHP, and hydrogen projects.

What you9ll own

• End-to-end operational readiness and handover of heating & cooling projects (heat pumps, boilers, CHP, cooling, metering, digital systems)
• Performance and reliability of live systems - making sure customers get what they promise
• Billing, metering accuracy, and revenue assurance
• O&M partner performance and customer support experience
• Building scalable processes, SOPs, and operational tools (including Odoo and other systems)
• Leading and growing a high-performing operations team
• Working closely with engineering, EPC, commercial teams, and external partners to keep projects moving fast and smoothly
