Head of Operations

Rapidly expanding Global, Retail Broker are setting up a Munich Office and are keen to hire a Head of Operations to contribute to gaining their regulatory permissions and establish a robust Operations function in this jurisdiction. Ideally the successful candidates will join the business on a temp/contract to permanent basis (going permanent once permissions are granted.) Reporting into the CEO duties will include:

Working with Compliance to gain BaFin Authorisation Operational Documentation and Design under MiFID II Client Asset Custody & Segregation Responsible for set up of robust Client Safeguarding Operations Operational Governance of Client Onboarding Governance of Trading Operations Post Trade Settlement and Custody Governance Operational Risk, Controls and Safety Management Post Authorisation Operations Leadership

We are keen to hear from candidates with strong Operational Leadership Experience within a MiFID II regulated business. Knowledge of working with/making applications to BaFin is desirable.
