Head of Product Line PA-Automation Package (m/f/d) - min. 35h

The position can be staffed on a full-time or part-time basis. For part-time employment, a minimum part-time rate of 87.5% is required, which corresponds to at least 35 hours per week.

You are part of our Business Unit Process Automation (PA), where components are developed that enable gases and liquids to be controlled, regulated, and monitored reliably and safely. The products are used, among other things, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, food production, and energy supply.

Your Job:

• Global, entrepreneurial overall responsibility (AUD) for the PA-Automation Package product line within the BU Process Automation
• Disciplinary leadership of product managers and development areas for PA-Automation Package, as well as coordination of business partners from Operations, Quality, and international TECs within the framework of global end-to-end responsibility
• Derive and drive product-line-specific strategies and measures to successfully implement the valid BU strategy (PA2030)
• Initiate measures to ensure a competitive (QCD) and innovative product portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle, with active portfolio management
• Market-driven expansion and promotion of relevant sales initiatives in close collaboration with Business Development, Product Management, Sales, and the business regions (PA2FA and PVI-Push)
• Build and manage an international development organization

Your Qualification:

• Successfully completed university degree with an interdisciplinary focus (e.g., technical studies with business administration or general management)
• Many years of professional experience in various corporate areas, preferably in product management, sales, or strategic corporate management
• Several years of leadership experience and strong leadership skills in a strategic role, in product management or sales
• Solid market and product knowledge in process automation and/or the product area to be managed is an advantage
• Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
• Quick comprehension, analytical and strategic abilities, as well as a high degree of entrepreneurial thinking and actionExcellent cooperation and communication skills, as well as strong assertiveness
• Strong networking capabilities, including across international organizational boundaries, as well as a high level of self-motivation and willingness to shape
• Willingness to travel internationally
