Head of Relationship Management

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Disciplinary and functional management of the RM INST area

  • Responsibility for the selection, development and qualification of the department / team heads and employees (in close coordination with the department heads)
  • target setting and monitoring the achievement of targets for direct reports
  • Conducting appraisals
  • Organising the area including ensuring documentation of work processes

Client Relationship Management and Development

  • Ensuring optimal support for existing clients (incl. management of measures and processes in coordination with relevant internal and external contacts)
  • Covering the top contacts of the most important clients
  • Ensuring the best possible handling of the sales process for existing clients with the involvement of the department heads
  • Analysis of cross- and up-selling potentials
  • Identification and qualification of sales opportunities
  • Implementation of measures to realise the sales opportunities
  • Deal negotiations until the contract is signed
  • Retention Management
  • Organisation and implementation of Investment Committee – and service meetings
  • Monitoring and controlling the client relationship profitability, incl. developing and implementing measures (e.g. Up-Pricing)

Preparation of a proposal for budget planning

  • Generating new product ideas for clients based on the knowledge gained in client relationship management in cooperation with the product units
  • Supporting the sales department in the acquisition of new clients
  • Supporting the acquisition and support of multipliers and consultants
  • Initiation and design of target group‑specific events together with the marketing department
  • Participation in / lead of cross‑divisional projects / committees
  • Responsible for achieving the unit's quality objectives (achievement of KPIs, processes & regulations, audit, RCSA)
  • Participation in internal and professional external events (external representation of Universal Investment)
