Head of Treasury Sales - DACH

Our client, an international bank, is currently seeking to hire a Head of Treasury Sales, covering the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Development: Identify and target prospective clients for the business
  • Relationship Management: Engage with key decision-makers within target organisations, guiding them through the full sales cycle — from initial contact and onboarding through to long‑term relationship management.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the treasury product suite. Provide insights and feedback to help tailor and enhance the local sales proposition.
  • Networking: Build strong professional networks with industry associations, professional service firms, and other potential referral partners.
  • Team Building: Identify, recruit, and mentor high‑calibre professionals to establish and grow a top‑performing, market‑leading team in the region.
  • Performance & Growth: Set and deliver ambitious business growth targets, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor progress and deliver clear, high‑quality reports to management teams.

Experience Required:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in selling FX and Corporate Treasury solutions — including Foreign Exchange, Payments, Interest Rate, and Commodities products — to a defined client base.
  • Market Expertise: Strong existing knowledge of the local market, supported by well‑established industry networks.
  • Relationship Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships both face‑to‑face and virtually.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial statements, credit risk, and treasury risk management principles.
