As Head of Department, HLSE, you will lead the building services and electrical engineering departments within a dynamic general planning company. This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for HVAC planning and team development, offering a clear growth path into electrical engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

Department Leadership: Manage building services and electrical engineering teams.
Strategic & Operational Management: Oversee HVAC (heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical) with 18 specialist planners and construction supervisors.
Project Oversight: Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and scheduling for large‑scale residential construction and renovation projects.
Team Development: Drive personnel management, talent development, and team growth in the HLS sector.
Future Growth: Gradually assume responsibility for electrical engineering within 2‑3 years.
Collaboration: Represent specialist departments and work closely with management and project teams.
Acquisition Support: Contribute during acquisition and concept phases; act as technical contact for building owners and partners.
Innovation: Develop technical standards and foster innovative solutions in building services engineering.

What You Bring

Degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent practical training.
Several years of leadership experience in HVAC (heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical), ideally in residential construction or renovation.
Strong knowledge of VOB, HOAI, and construction contract law.
Proven leadership and decision‑making skills, with a talent for team development.
Excellent communication, organizational, and implementation skills.
German language proficiency (C1 or higher).
