Information Security Risk Consultant

Our client is a well-established organisation seeking an Information Security Risk Consultant to support the development and delivery of their information security risk function. This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad range of security risk topics across a complex, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment, and management of information security risks across the organisation.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the information security risk framework and related policies.
• Provide guidance and advisory support to internal stakeholders on security risk matters.
• Assist in the preparation of risk reporting for senior management and relevant committees.
• Collaborate with teams across IT, compliance, and the business to embed security risk practices.
• Monitor developments in the threat landscape and support the continuous improvement of risk processes.

Your Profile

• Experience in information security, cyber risk, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with relevant frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, or similar).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are an advantage.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial.
