We are building a brand new Laboratory in Frankfurt which provides targeted testing services that Europe needs to accelerate the energy transition, enable connected data ecosystems, and support next‑generation mobility, while also offering services to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
Be the first Inside Sales Executive for our new Lab for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) / Wireless certification services! In this role, you will serve as a key connection between UL delivery teams and our German‑speaking customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year.
- Interface between customer and UL delivery teams during sales that require additional technical expertise related to highly technical TIC services (e.g., EMC‑Wireless).
- Communicate with customers primarily remotely (video, phone, email) to promote and sell specialty TIC products/services; travel as needed (up to 20%) for outreach to highest‑potential customers.
- Use technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence and support account owner relationships.
- Communicate value proposition of assigned specialty TIC products/services to clients based on highly technical knowledge.
- Support sales for assigned specialty TIC product/service line(s) in collaboration and at the direction of account owners.
- Act on opportunities to sell specialty product/services into highest potential accounts in their assigned portfolio.
- Support discovery and opportunity identification for assigned specialty products/services.
- Work under guidance with account managers (e.g., Sales Representatives aligned to Commercial accounts, KAMs serving Global accounts in sub‑scale geographies) to seamlessly work with customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Serve as primary point of contact for specialty products/services, responsible for articulating value proposition.
- Bring in additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) when needed to support sales opportunities of assigned specialty products/services.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated working experience in a similar position, or in technical sales, sales support, or related.
- Fluent German and advanced English language.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with EMC, Wireless or related industry.
- Fluent German and a good level of English language.
- Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Experience in selling Testing, Inspection & Certification services would be nice to have.
