Location: Berlin | Remote | Full-time | Start: ASAP | Duration: Until end of the year

Job Description

• Align with business teams, trading, operations, IT, and external partners
• Structure and moderate complex or evolving requirements
• Translate technical integration topics into business-friendly language
• Document interfaces, data flows, and business rules
• Develop and operate Python-based ETL and integration processes
• Process time-series, energy, and nomination data
• Implement and maintain REST APIs (e.g., FastAPI)
• Work with Azure services such as API Management, Key Vault, and Application Insights
• Perform monitoring and troubleshooting (logs, correlation IDs, KQL)
• Enable secure data exchange via API or SFTP

The Successful Applicant

• 2-5+ years of experience in data engineering or integration
• Strong Python and REST API skills
• Experience with Azure integration environments
• Structured working style in stakeholder-heavy environments
• Fluent English

Nice-to-have

• Experience with energy market processes (nominations, market communication, time series, settlement)
• SFTP integrations
• FastAPI / OpenAPI
• GitHub workflows / CI-CD
