You can expect an exciting and varied position in the LAB14 IT Shared Service Center in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen!

Your mission

• Ensuring the trouble-free operation of the IT systems and IT infrastructure (HyperV/VMware/Proxmox, Windows/Linux, databases, network components, PBX, M365) of the Lab14 Group
• Responsible for 3rd and 2nd level support in a high-tech environment. You will support your colleagues in 1st level support with specific questions
• Creation and implementation of modern concepts regarding virtualization, storage, data backup, migrations, cloud computing, security and performance within the Lab14 group
• Implementing, managing and maintaining specialist applications and infrastructure services
• Rollout, installation and configuration of standard software
• Collaboration with team colleagues and end users to isolate and rectify faults in IT operations
• Documentation of the IT infrastructure
• Documentation and escalation of service requests in the trouble ticket system
• Management of service providers

Your profile

• Completed studies (computer science, electrical engineering) or training in the IT environment with additional certificates and at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position in a demanding IT environment
• Through your professional practice, you have good knowledge of modern server management, the above-mentioned environments and network components
• You have an analytical, structured and yet pragmatic approach, you have an overview of complex systems and can quickly familiarize yourself with them
• You have an understanding of IT processes and IT service-related necessities
• You are highly self-motivated, have a positive charisma, are communicative, a team player, flexible and able to work under pressure
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
