A leading Main Contractor specialising in the design and delivery of high-value data centre projects across Europe is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their growing engineering team. Role Overview:

The Junior Electrical Engineer will support the Electrical Project Manager and wider MEP team in the coordination, design review, and delivery of electrical systems throughout the project lifecycle. You will gain hands-on experience across large-scale data centre builds, learning from senior engineers and contributing to the successful completion of mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and coordinating electrical packages from design through to commissioning
• Support with reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Monitor progress and support quality assurance processes across installation works
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover documentation
• Support health, safety, and environmental compliance within your assigned scope
• Contribute to project reporting, documentation, and technical reviews

Experience & Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• 1–3 years’ experience in an electrical engineering role within construction or M&E contracting
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems (LV/MV, power distribution, lighting, containment, etc.)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Willingness to work on large-scale European data centre projects
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop within a leading contractor environment
