GlobalFoundries Fab 1 is seeking a new‑college graduate to support the state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and development in Dresden, Germany. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration in the Back end of line with emphasis on process flow in BEOL and Cu metallization schemes, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvements related to cost efficiency, technology yield, process stability of inline and electrical parameters, defectivity, and more. This includes root‑causing and implementation of corrective / preventive actions for product- or technology‑specific issues in close collaboration with the relevant process engineering (AME) and Integration Platform Teams. All tasks and activities follow and utilize standardized Global Foundries biz processes like ICAR, 8D, MRB, ECM and PCRB. The team works closely with the NPI team / Integration platforms to meet all customer requirements for product starts and high‑volume production products. Besides this, the team is also responsible for the development of new and emerging technologies through definition/execution of experiments and technical data analysis. The ideal candidate can demonstrate a technical understanding of semiconductor principles and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve semiconductor technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.
