Junior Executive Trainee, SURU with a Finance & Project Management track (dfm)

Overview

This role offers ambitious graduates a unique opportunity to begin their career at the leadership level working side-by-side with the Leader of SURU on strategic initiatives in finance and project management. From day one you’ll take ownership of shaping and professionalising our financial structures and processes guided by the leadership team and reporting directly to SURU’s Leader.

Responsibilities

• Developing the Controlling function including budgeting forecasting performance reporting and business analysis to support decision-making.
• Managing procurement and treasury processes ensuring financial planning supplier control and cash flow optimization.
• Ensuring compliance and coordinating legal matters working closely with external legal and tax advisors to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Support in designing and optimizing (in alignment with Accounting Lead) the end-to-end finance operations including digital processes from procurement to invoicing that enable scalability efficiency and transparency.
• Grow in the role as a cross-functional partner collaborating with Technology Product and Sales teams to align finance operations with business needs and growth goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed bachelors or masters degree in finance controlling or engineering ideally in a fast-paced or entrepreneurial environment
• A hands-on mindset - you’re comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-driven approach
• Communication and collaboration skills; able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in modern finance tools
• Fluency in German and strong command of English (written and spoken)
• A mindset aligned with long-term purposeful work. You see this as a marathon not a sprint
