About the Role

As a Lead Solutions Consultant at Perk, you will serve as a technical expert within our solution consulting organization, driving technical excellence in fast‑moving sales cycles in a dynamic sales environment. You will lead or support key pursuits while defining best practices, mentoring junior team members, and acting as a conduit to our product organization.

You are a practitioner and expert in spend management technology, financial processes, and complex enterprise IT landscapes. This role is for a professional who has the proven ability to sell value effectively.

What You’ll Do

Technical Leadership

• Create scalable solutions and provide guidance on solution architecture, often involving integrations with key ERP systems like SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics BC, F&O, etc.
• Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, guiding clients through the entire solution lifecycle, including design, integration, and adoption.

Solution Design

• Translate complex business requirements into technical design and architecture for Perk’s spend‑management solution.

Team Mentorship

• Lead onboarding, coaching, and continuous development of Solutions Consultants, ensuring team consistency and high performance.
• Conduct whiteboarding sessions to elevate the technical acumen and sales skills of the team.

Enterprise Architecture Expertise

• Maintain knowledge of complex enterprise IT landscapes, including on‑premise vs. cloud ERP, security protocols, and API strategies.
• Act as the internal subject‑matter expert on the most complex ERP integrations with our spend‑management solution (e.g., large‑scale SAP or Oracle deployments across multiple subsidiaries).

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 7‑10 years in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting for complex B2B SaaS solutions, with at least 2 years in a lead or mentoring capacity.
• Domain Experience: Knowledge of the spend‑management industry and understanding of enterprise accounting processes, global financial controls, and shared‑service center operations. Background in finance/accounting desirable.
• Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining solution‑consulting methodologies and improving team processes.
• Technical Acumen: Good understanding of complex ERP landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft, etc.) and integration architectures (APIs, middleware, SFTP). Lead architectural discussions with enterprise IT leaders.
• Leadership Presence: Comfortable presenting value propositions to C‑level executives in Global 2000 companies.
• Languages: Fluency in English and German is required. Additional languages are an asset for supporting regional sales teams.

How We Work

We take an IRL‑first approach to work, with team meetings in‑person three days a week. This role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs. For suitable roles, we can help with relocation from anywhere in the world.
