At Emirates Engineering, we have Line Maintenance who ensures seamless aircraft operations, managing Line and Aircraft Cabin Maintenance (ACM) while collaborating with teams like Flight Operations and Network Control.

And at Base Maintenance , expert engineers handle inspections, repairs, cabin retrofits, and aircraft deliveries for Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777, offering efficient, cost‑effective solutions for A & C checks, engine and landing gear changes, unscheduled maintenance, and pre‑service checks.

About the Role

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at Emirates Engineering , you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft in accordance with company and regulatory procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturer procedures, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks according to manufacturer and safety procedures.
  • Ensure assigned zones/aircraft are maintained as per the latest revisions of approved technical publications.
  • Handle off‑aircraft tasks such as spares handling and documentation in compliance with company procedures.
  • Determine and use appropriate tooling/equipment for tasks, ensuring cost‑effective and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Carry out component changes as necessary, following AMM, IPC, or manufacturer documentation.
  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations, maintain excellent housekeeping conditions, and report any deficiencies.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and senior engineers to highlight operational issues and ensure seamless information flow.
  • Complete detailed reports on service delays, incidents, and accidents to facilitate maintenance planning and improvement.
  • Manage staff performance through performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans.Attend training modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical apprenticeship.
  • At least 5 years of aircraft maintenance engineering experience , including a minimum of 2 years as certifying staff on any Emirates wide‑body aircraft.
  • A valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with type endorsement on at least one Emirates aircraft (B777, A380, and/or A350), plus an additional wide‑body or narrow‑body type rating on your AME license.
