About this role

This HR Business Partner role is part of the Scoober Germany HR team and reports to the Local Lead HRBP Scoober Germany. In this role you closely collaborate with our local operations and give input to the HR functional strategy. You will mainly collaborate with local HRBPs, I&LR Specialists and Courier HR Ops Team in order to develop and support the growth of the organisation.

A key responsibility of this role is to manage relationships with multiple local works councils, acting as their primary point of contact. You will engage with works council members to ensure effective communication, address their concerns, and foster a collaborative relationship that aligns with our organizational goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with experience supporting a business function within a fast growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing & improving HR policies & practices, partnering with managers, ensuring a great employee experience for our couriers and Scoober staff.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Establish a trustworthy & cooperative relationship with the local works councils
  • Advising stakeholders on individual & collective labour law issues in the day-to-day business by solving legal challenges in order to minimise legal risks
  • Supporting the business in negotiating local works agreements in alignment with our overall labour relations strategy
  • Coaching Courier Coordinators and City Operation Managers on HR topics, incorporating HR goals (performance & talent management, learning & development, engagement) into the daily agenda
  • Share the view of the country and act as a partner for other HR teams such as courier HR ops & payroll to validate local impact
  • Ensuring duty of care as a responsible employer across all policies and procedures and proactively work to minimise people risk
  • Leveraging people data to improve service and decision making

What will you bring to the team?

Comfortable to navigate in an international and matrix HR environment, having worked as HRBP in partnership with HRBPs, CoEs & works council(s).

  • Good stakeholder management and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Experience of working with HR data, and an analytical mindset, to shape and influence people outcomes and business decisions.
  • Understanding of Local Legislation (individual & collective labour law).
  • Understanding of Legal frameworks and HR impact collaborating with employment lawyers.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Problem solving skills: The ability to analyse situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously and staying organised in an ever changing organisation.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with works councils.
