Your tasks

In the PUK segment, the PC-RB Datamart is THE data source for a wide range of applications and users who use this data for analysis and reports. CODABAS is the legacy data warehouse with a wide variety of customer business data and is used by many applications in the Commerzbank. Our CoDaMart cell in the Big Data cluster is the right place for you, as a Business Analyst/Business Expert

• Want to advance the further development of the applications in PC-RB Datamart and
• Support the decommissioning of the CODABAS data warehouse and
• Ensure the maintenance and operation of our products.

What you will be doing?

• Clarification and analysis of requirements for our products
• Creation of (technical) designs and specifications, data modelling, DB2 table design and delivery agreements based on technical requirements
• Further development and maintenance of the data model
• Business and technical data analysis
• Support and quality assurance during the development process, through testing, right up to go-live
• Processing of requests for PC-RB Datamart and CODABAS, including evaluation of data
• Advice and support to our stakeholders

Your profile

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• German B2+ level
• English B2/C1 level
• Strong analytical skills
• High knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of z/OS, DB2
• Good knowledge of COBOL programs: the basic structure and functioning of mainframe applications

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Excel
• Basic knowledge of Data Modelling Fundamentals
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing / Data Lake Concept
• Experience with cloud solutions (preferably GCP)
• Experience in banking sector
• Basic knowledge of Rumba, DB2 Catalog Manager, PowerDesigner, Aqua Data Studio
