MAIN TASKS

Outsourcingcontrolling in accordance with 36 KAGB for fund accounting and the middleoffice

Ensuring regulated outsourcing controlling in accordance with § 36 KAGB

• Regular review of the activities of the assigned outsourcing partners
• Duty of documentation
• Coordination and agreement with the outsourcing partners
• Planning, implementation and documentation of the steering committee meetings

Fundcontrolling

• Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual and internal investment restrictions for the investment assets, responsible for correct set-up of limits in internal systems
• Monitoring that investment limit violations by portfolio management are reversed
• Review and publication of unit prices on the intranet and verification of the correct and complete booking of transactions
• Market conformity check for mandates
• Coordination with the depositary, the fund administration and middle office department to ensure a proper fund administration process
• Participation in the preparation of the semi‑annual and annual reports for the funds
• Cooperation with auditors and internal audit
• Responsible for the withholding tax process

Data Management

• Keep MasterData File for all funds up‑to‑date
• Ensure correct fund data in external databases

Reporting

• Preparation of regular reports on compliance with investment limits
• Ensuring proper reporting for the investment assets
• Regular reporting (regulatory and client‑specific reports)
• Ensuring proper publications (Federal Gazette) or monitoring of publications from fund admin (website)
