Position

Become part of our Hamburg, Bremen or Copenhagen team as Marine Manager (all genders) (20 months Fixed-Term Contract) .

Your future tasks

  • Coordinate and oversee all marine logistics and operations across the offshore wind project lifecycle, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution in line with project schedules and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary interface with port authorities, maritime offices, Vessel Traffic Services (VTS), vessel inspectors, and port masters, representing the project in all marine-related matters.
  • Ensure vessel compliance with contractual, regulatory, and HSSE requirements, including planning, execution, and close-out of vessel inspections.
  • Coordinate employer fleet and guard vessel operations, supporting installation, construction, and offshore activities in alignment with project objectives.
  • Support construction and logistics teams with port operations, infrastructure readiness, pre-assembly port activities, and free-issued port facilities for contractors.
  • Lead marine interface management and HSSE alignment across project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, maintaining documentation, reporting, and continuous communication.

Your profile

  • Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in offshore wind or marine construction logistics, preferably in an EPC environment.
  • Proven track record managing marine operations and coordinating with port authorities and maritime regulators.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple interfaces in high-pressure offshore environments.
  • Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Competence in interpreting and applying marine regulations and standards.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are an asset.
  • Willingness to travel and work at ports or offshore sites as required.
