Material Planner/Coordinator - International Industrial Group - Excellent Progression Opportunities & Global Exposure

I’m supporting a long-established global player in the industrial/automotive/manufacturing space that is strengthening its planning team in the DACH region. Their European HQ (near Düsseldorf) oversees several markets and works closely with production sites across Asia. It’s a very international environment with colleagues from multiple regions and cultures.

The company is financially strong, actively transforming its portfolio, and expanding into new technology areas connected to electric mobility and advanced industrial materials, and they are in a strong position to pivot into other sectors as per changing strategies. This role sits at the centre of that ecosystem - coordinating material flows, aligning with overseas production, and supporting sales and distribution activities across Europe.

The role is perfect for somebody at the beginning of their career with some initial SCM/planning experience, who wants to build and progress their career with a known automotive supplier which is in a uniquely good position vs. the industry, with production facilities and sales organizations around the world.

What you’ll do:

Coordinate material availability with multiple European markets
Liaise with production teams in Asia
Support forecasting, inventory planning & delivery alignment
Work closely with sales, operations & regional distribution
Use SAP to manage and maintain consistent master data

What’s needed:

A relevant University degree, followed by Initial experience in planning/supply chain within an industrial or related environment
SAP experience preferred
Enjoy working across cultures and time zones
