Overview

Primus Global is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with deep expertise in Extreme Networks and CATO to lead enterprise-grade network deployments and optimizations. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-performance, secure, and scalable network infrastructure across a dynamic hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize CATO devices and Extreme switches/APs
• Design and deploy Extreme Networks solutions across enterprise environments
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and integrations
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on network engineering experience
• Strong Layer 2/3 knowledge: VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, QoS
• Proficiency with Extreme Management Center (XMC), Fabric Connect, and Cloud IQ
• Experience with Python, Ansible, and network automation frameworks
• Exposure to Cisco SDN, Meraki, AWS Infrastructure, and Wireless technologies
• ECS Certification or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) models
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and SASE architectures
• Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks
• German language proficiency
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise or telecom environments
