For our client, a leading multinational technology company specializing in internet-related services and products, we are currently seeking an Operations Manager (m/f/d) for a temporary assignment based in Munich .

Your Tasks:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize operational processes across internal teams and/or external vendors. In this role, you will design, launch, standardize, and continuously improve workflows, tools, and operational efficiencies. You will play a key role in solving complex operational challenges, enhancing customer experience, and delivering cost-effective solutions at scale.
This position requires a strong background in process improvement, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be comfortable executing initiatives with minimal guidance and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, launch, and scale operational solutions to improve efficiency, customer experience, and success metrics (e.g. cost, time savings, capacity)
- Publish and communicate operational KPIs and metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, documentation, help resources, and training programs
- Manage the end-to-end customer experience across programs, policies, and operational workflows
- Contribute to and support execution of large-scale operational projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers/internal teams to ensure operational compliance (legal, financial, privacy) and service delivery aligned with SLAs and PRDs
- Lead or contribute to regular business reviews with suppliers and internal teams to discuss performance, scaling strategy, and improvement opportunities
- Analyze trends in process and workflow performance to identify and implement improvements (e.g. utilization, automation, cross-team efficiencies)
- Support process improvement and knowledge sharing internally and externally (e.g. case studies, best practices)
- Participate in supplier/internal selection, onboarding, performance reviews, and progress evaluations
- Provide feedback to service providers and stakeholders to improve and scale operational processes
- Manage operational queries, escalations, and employee-facing queues with minimal supervision.
- Support stakeholders in understanding processes and policies and assist in issue resolution/escalations.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and delivery
- Drive project planning and delivery in alignment with supplier/internal strategy, ensuring the right team, cost, and location fit
Your profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in operations management, project management, or a similar operational discipline
- 3+ years of experience in problem solving, scheduling and planning, documentation management, and process improvement.
- Language Requirements:
- German and Romanian – Preferred
- Tools & Applications:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Experience with AODocs or similar documentation/process management tools
