You will have a leading role in the evolution of our bidding product portfolio, from foundational auction algorithms to advanced optimization systems. You will work at the intersection of product strategy, machine learning, and marketplace dynamics to deliver bidding solutions that connect the ideal vendor with the ideal customer millions of times every day, leveraging data science to build world-class auction experiences that drive vendor satisfaction and business growth. - Define and execute the long-term product vision and strategy for bidding and auction experiences across our global platform, leading cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading solutions.
- Partner with senior leadership to align bidding initiatives with broader business objectives and drive product adoption, including roadmapping, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Leverage expertise in machine learning and data science to guide technical product decisions, collaborating with ML engineering teams to design and implement advanced auction algorithms and optimization systems.
- Drive innovation in auction mechanisms, bid optimization, dynamic pricing systems, and vendor intent prediction, championing data-driven decision making through experimentation and analysis.
- Lead end-to-end bidding product development from ideation through launch and optimization, delivering features such as automated bid optimization, real-time auction systems, and dynamic floor pricing.
- Act as a global leader, conducting research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving adoption of cutting-edge auction technologies, and mentoring technical product management capabilities.
Qualifications
- 8-12+ years of product management/development experience, with 6+ years in bidding, auction systems, or marketplace monetization, building commercially viable auction products and owning product strategies.
- Strong technical background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis. Hands-on experience in Python, R, SQL, Spark, and TensorFlow/PyTorch is helpful.
- Deep understanding of auction technologies including real-time bidding, optimization algorithms, pricing models, and marketplace dynamics, with a proven track record in building and scaling bidding products.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and statistical methods for product optimization, including auction evaluation metrics.
- Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen, able to communicate product initiatives through data, and skilled in negotiating and compromising with stakeholders.
