Your Impact

As Procurement Advisory Lead at Tacto, you'll pioneer our new advisory practice that delivers tangible cost savings for industrial Mittelstand companies across Europe. Moving beyond our algorithmic alerts, you'll build and lead a function that transforms data-driven insights into realized bottom-line impact for our customers. By combining your deep procurement expertise with our software platform, you'll help customers unlock savings opportunities they couldn't access on their own. This role sits at the strategic intersection of our technology and customer experience, allowing you to shape both how we deliver value today and how we embed advisory capabilities into our product for the future. Your work will not only strengthen customer relationships and drive renewals but also create an entirely new revenue stream and competitive differentiator for Tacto.

Responsibilities

• Cost Savings Realization: Design and execute end-to-end procurement savings projects with customers, from initial opportunity identification through negotiation support to validated savings realization.
• Advanced Procurement Techniques: Apply sophisticated methodologies including cost breakdowns, should-costing analyses, and alternative supplier identification to create tangible savings opportunities for customers.
• Negotiation Leadership: Prepare and lead high-stakes supplier negotiations alongside customers, leveraging data-driven insights and market expertise to secure optimal commercial terms.
• Product Enhancement: Partner with our product team to embed procurement best practices and cost-saving methodologies directly into the Tacto platform, creating scalable value for all customers.
• Team Development: Build capabilities within our Customer Experience organization by training Customer Value Managers and laying the foundation for a dedicated, high-impact advisory function.
• Become AI Native: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI to accelerate the work of your team, experiment with new approaches, and share successful workflows – contributing to Tacto's culture of high-velocity execution and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5-20+ years of experience in procurement consulting or strategic sourcing, ideally with significant exposure to manufacturing or industrial companies.
• You've delivered measurable cost savings through strategic procurement initiatives with a proven track record of results
• Deep expertise in cost analysis methodologies, supplier optimization, and data-driven negotiation strategies
• You excel at building strong customer relationships and can translate technical concepts into business impact
• You combine strategic thinking with practical execution, able to design frameworks while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver results
• You have experience building and developing teams, with a talent for knowledge transfer and capability building
• You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in environments where you can shape new offerings
• You have excellent communication skills in both German and English
