Product Consultant

About the position

As a Business Analyst in our cross‑functional team, you will play a key role in guiding projects from discovery to delivery. Working in the mobility sector on a critical big data application for traffic monitoring, you will collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements. This consulting role requires a unique blend of strong technical acumen, deep business analysis skills, and a data‑driven mindset.

Your tasks may include:

• Collaboration with relevant stakeholders to understand their business needs, translating these into structured, detailed technical requirements for the development team.
• Analysis of company business processes, systems, and data to find opportunities for improvement and provide insights that influence project outcomes and strategic business choices.
• Facilitation of clear communication between technical and non‑technical team members, ensuring requirements are accurately translated and aligned with the business goals.
• Ownership of essential documentation, such as requirements specifications, user stories, and workflows, to provide guidance throughout the project.
• Leading workshops and discussions with stakeholders and team members.

Your profile

• 3+ years in a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Product Owner role, ideally in domains involving SaaS, data‑heavy applications, or traffic/tolling systems.
• Solid technical foundation that includes an understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and API integrations.
• Experience in requirements engineering, with a strong understanding of system architectures and data structures.
• Proficiency in both German and English at the C1 level.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Business, STEM, or a related area). Higher degrees are preferred.
