Professional Services Engineer – System Integrator

Our client is a specialist in security and network infrastructure services. With more than a decade of experience serving enterprise, data‑centre and telecom customers, they combine network and cybersecurity expertise to provide end‑to‑end network solutions for their customers.

As part of the professional services team, you will work in a role where you are an engineering partner for customers – turning high‑level design into deployable solutions, and doing so across multiple projects in parallel.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in a consultative style, understanding their network and security needs, and deliver solutions.
• Work across multiple simultaneous projects
• Take over from Pre‑Sales / HLD stage and produce Low‑Level Designs (LLD), documentation, deployment, and then hand‑over to TAC for ongoing support.
• Perform deployment engineering tasks: rolling out next‑generation firewalls (NGFWs), network switches, legacy migrations and refreshes.
• Produce technical documentation, and ensure governance, consistency and high‑quality work output.
• Minimal travel to customer sites (roughly once every two months maximum).

Skills/Must have:

• Native German speaker (excellent German communication skills, especially customer‑facing).
• Hands‑on experience with vendor technologies: Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet.
• Strong skill‑set in LLD creation, technical documentation, deployment engineering.
• Solid experience in network/security projects: implementing, migrating, deploying network access, firewalls, switches etc.
